We're looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installation Engineer / Foreman to join our client's growing team, delivering commercial and industrial sprinkler projects across a range of interesting environments in London and the Home Counties. Our client is a privately owned sprinkler contractor with a low turnover of staff, reflecting the attention to detail and care for employees over the 20 year history since incorporation.
The Role
- Carrying out sprinkler system additions, alterations and fit‑outs
- Leading and supervising sprinkler installation teams on site
- Coordinating works with clients, contractors and internal management teams
- Ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Managing day‑to‑day site activities and maintaining programme delivery
- Supporting commissioning and handover activities where required
This role offers a good mix of technical hands‑on installation work alongside team leadership and site responsibility.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a sprinkler fitter
- Experience working as a Lead Fitter, Foreman or Site Supervisor
- A strong understanding of BS EN 12845 standards
- Good knowledge of sprinkler system installation processes
- Experience with pipe threading, grooving, welding, valve sets, fire pumps, steel pipe sprinkler systems
- Full UK Driving Licence and a CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification
- Preferred: SSSTS, ABBE Level 2 Certificate in Fire Sprinkler Installation
