Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 7:30am - 1:00pm

The Role

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LGV vehicles.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Complete pre-MOT inspections and vehicle preparation.
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard and within required timescales.
  • Complete all service records, inspection sheets and workshop documentation accurately.
  • Maintain compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Fitter or LGV Technician.
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Experience carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage workloads.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable

  • Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence.
  • Experience within commercial vehicle workshops or fleet maintenance environments.
