This Isn't Just Another AV Installation Role You'll be trusted to lead the technical delivery of high-end residential projects from rack build through to final handover. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions on site, work with leading technologies, and play a key role in ensuring installations are completed to the highest possible standard. No micromanagement. What You'll Be Doing Leading the installation and commissioning of luxury residential AV and smart home systems Building and wiring professional-grade racks to a premium standard Installing and commissioning: Home Cinema Systems Multi-Room Audio Video Distribution Lighting Control Automated Shading Integrated Smart Home PlatformsConfiguring systems including: Control4 Lutron Crestron Savant (advantageous)Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning Working closely with project managers, designers, clients, and contractors Supporting and mentoring junior engineers when required Taking ownership of project quality from start to finish Who We're Looking For You'll probably be frustrated in your current role if: You're capable of more responsibility but aren't being trusted with it You're constantly fixing poor-quality installs You're working with outdated technology You're looking for more complex and rewarding projectsYou'll ideally have: Strong experience within high-end residential AV Proven installation and commissioning experience Excellent rack-building and structured cabling skills Experience with Control4 and/or Lutron Exposure to Crestron or Savant would be a strong advantage The confidence to lead on-site technical delivery A professional approach when working in luxury residential environments A full UK driving licence What's In It for You? £40,000-£50,000 Basic Salary Plus: Paid overtime at enhanced rates Company van and fuel card Phone and laptop Uniform provided Pension scheme 5 weeks holiday including the Christmas period Ongoing manufacturer training and certifications Genuine progression opportunities Exposure to some of the most prestigious residential projects in the country The Bottom Line If you're an experienced AV Engineer who enjoys delivering high-quality work, solving technical challenges, and working on projects you can genuinely be proud of, we'd like to speak with you.
