Step into a pivotal leadership role where your sprinkler design expertise will shape major fire protection projects across the UK. This is an opportunity to take full ownership of a high-performing technical design team and drive innovation within one of the industry's most respected fire protection divisions.

You'll lead a multidisciplinary team delivering complex sprinkler system designs for high-profile commercial and residential developments. With a supportive but hands-off leadership structure above you, you'll have the autonomy to manage the team your way-while still having senior backing when needed.

Enjoy hybrid working with three days per week in the London office, plus 25 days holiday + bank holidays, life insurance and full travel expenses covered.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of sprinkler system designers
  • Overseeing the technical output, quality and compliance of all sprinkler designs
  • Providing expert guidance on complex or specialist design challenges
  • Managing workflow, processes and resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Acting as the technical authority for sprinkler design within the London division
  • Ensuring designs meet all relevant standards, regulations and client specifications

What You'll Need

  • Extensive sprinkler design experience (minimum 10 years) across commercial and residential systems
  • Proven leadership background managing technical/design teams
  • Deep knowledge of relevant fire protection and sprinkler standards (e.g., BS EN, NFPA)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • LPCB qualifications are advantageous but not essential
