I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established plant equipment business that is growing its Tamworth workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fitter who enjoys fault finding, servicing, and getting machines turned around to a high standard without being constantly out on the road.
You'll be working on a fleet of Telescopic Handlers including JCB and Manitou equipment, carrying out maintenance, inspections, repairs, and preparation work to keep machines hire-ready.

The Role:
You'll be responsible for:
- Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs)
- LOLER inspections
- Planned servicing and maintenance
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- General mechanical repairs
- Assessing and repairing machine damage
- Ensuring equipment is ready for hire quickly and safely
This is a busy workshop role where quality, efficiency, and attention to detail are highly valued.
