Alecto Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a well-established plant equipment business that is expanding its Midlands service team. They're looking for a Mobile Fitter to cover customer sites across the region, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and breakdown support on a fleet of Telescopic Handlers including JCB and Manitou machines. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability, strong earning potential, and a genuinely supportive team culture.

The Role:
- You'll be working predominantly on customer sites across the Midlands, responsible for:
- Servicing and maintaining telescopic handlers
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime
- Managing your workload independently
- Delivering high standards of customer service
What They're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent)
- Strong experience as a diesel mechanic or plant fitter
- Good working knowledge of plant machinery
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong communication skills
Desirable:
- CSCS Card
