Do you want to lead the delivery of some of the most advanced smart home systems in the UK residential market? We are working with a high end AV specialist delivering luxury home automation and integrated AV systems into some of the UK's most prestigious properties. This is a senior engineering role where quality, precision, and technical leadership matter just as much as hands on engineering.

You will take ownership of complex installations from rack build through to final commissioning, often acting as the key technical lead on site.

The role

As a Senior AV Engineer, you will lead the install, configuration, and commissioning of high end residential AV and smart home systems. You will also support junior engineers and ensure every project is delivered to an exceptional standard.

What you will be doing

  • Leading installation and commissioning of home cinemas, multi room audio, video distribution, and integrated smart home systems
  • Configuring and programming systems including Control4, Lutron, Crestron, and Savant
  • Owning rack builds, structured cabling, and full system wiring to a premium standard
  • Advanced fault finding, diagnostics, and system optimisation
  • Integrating lighting, shading, HVAC, and control systems into unified platforms
  • Working closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery
  • Supporting and mentoring engineers on site where required
  • Ensuring projects are delivered cleanly, efficiently, and to specification

  • Confident with Control4 and/or Lutron, with Crestron or Savant highly desirable
  • Proven experience delivering complex integrated smart home systems
  • Strong rack building and structured cabling skills

  • Confident working in high end residential environments with clients and contractors
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
