Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Redcar, UK.

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance across plant and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs to minimise downtime.
- Fault find on PLCs, VSDs, control panels and relay logic circuits.
- Support continuous improvement projects to increase plant reliability and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on production machinery and associated equipment.
- Work with external contractors during specialist maintenance activities.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and engineering compliance.
- Record maintenance activities and analyse recurring faults to develop long-term solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
- NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Electrical bias preferred).
- Experience maintaining production or manufacturing machinery.
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills.
- Experience with PLCs, VSDs, and relay logic circuits.
- Safety‑first approach and commitment to high engineering standards.
- Proactive and dedicated to keeping production moving.
