Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Engineer looking for a stable, well-paid role with consistent hours? We are recruiting a skilled Plant Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair a fleet of:
- Material Handlers
- 360 Excavators
- Loading Shovels
- Trommels
- Crushers
- Screening and recycling equipment
This is a hands-on mechanical and hydraulic maintenance role in a busy operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM)
- Breakdown diagnosis and repair
- Hydraulic fault finding and repairs
- Mechanical repairs (engines, pumps, gearboxes, motors)
- Basic electrical fault finding (12v/24v systems advantageous)
- Completing service sheets and maintenance paperwork
- Working independently and as part of a team
Ideal Background
We welcome applicants with experience in:
- Heavy plant maintenance
- Construction plant
- Quarry or recycling plant
- Agricultural machinery
- Material processing equipment
What's on Offer
- £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
- Monday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
- Occasional Saturday mornings, 7am - 12pm

Requirements
- Proven heavy plant experience
- Strong hydraulic knowledge
- Confident fault-finding ability
