Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle main dealer based in Nottingham, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Service Advisor to join their aftersales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong automotive background - whether from cars or commercial vehicles - who is confident in a fast-paced service environment.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the service department, working closely with customers, technicians, and the workshop team to ensure a high standard of service delivery and efficient workshop flow.
Key Responsibilities:- Handling incoming service calls and managing customer bookings
- Preparing and processing job cards accurately
- Scheduling and allocating work within the workshop
- Assisting with the management of workshop efficiency and workflow
- Maintaining excellent communication with both customers and internal teams
Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm OR 9:30am - 6:00pm (flexible, candidate's choice)
1 Saturday per month: 8:00am - 12:00pm
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive setting (car or commercial)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Confident in managing bookings and workshop scheduling
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain a professional approach
- Proactive, team-oriented, and customer-focused
- Starting from £27,000+, depending on experience
