A leading security systems integrator is seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer to join their team, supporting a wide range of high-end clients predominantly within Central London. This is a field-based role focused on servicing, fault-finding, and callouts for electronic security systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, reactive service, and callouts - primarily in London (within M25), with occasional UK-wide travel.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across a range of systems including:
  • Access Control
  • Intruder Alarms
  • CCTV
  • Entry Phone Systems
  • Represent the company professionally in front of high-profile clients - excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.
  • Participate in the on-call rota (1-3 callouts per month, shared among 3-4 engineers; mostly standby with infrequent site attendance).
  • The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    • Strong technical background with proven experience in servicing and troubleshooting across multiple security system manufacturers.
    • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
    • A well-presented, articulate, and customer-focused approach.
    • A full UK driving licence.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of client environments.

    What’s on Offer:

    • Overtime Pay: 1.5x (Mon-Sat), 2x (Sunday).
    • Paid door-to-door for callouts outside normal hours.
    • On-Call Standby Pay: £120 per week + callout payments.

    • Tools: Engineer to supply hand tools. Power tools and test equipment provided as needed.
    • Training & Development: Manufacturer and industry training - up to commissioning level.
