Plant Operator/Attendant- Power Station Circa £40,000 + Benefits & Bonus Slough We are currently recruiting a Plant Assistant and/or Weighbridge Operator for a New Build Energy from Waste Power Station in Slough, Berkshire. This role is based on a shift pattern working days and nights. Package Details A competitive starting salary of £34,000 per annum. Plus a £5,000 Shift Allowance. Bonus available. Benefits package including family healthcare.Job Brief As the Weighbridge Operator, you will be responsible for: Ensure the weighbridge operates accurately and efficiently. Ensure a high level of professionalism at all times and when dealing with drivers, visitors and contractors. Ensure the high level of security at the site is maintained at all times. Programme and issue swipe cards and visitor passes and ensure they are suitably inducted prior to access on site. Ensure all information regarding weights and type of waste are accurately recorded in the document management system. An understanding of PPC Permit requirements and legal requirements for movement of waste. Ensure customers comply with legislation when delivering and collection from site and ensure all documentation is signed and retained within the document management system. Ensure all drivers are inducted onto the site and follow the Company's safety rules. General administrative duties. Mobile plant / forklift truck experience is desirable but not essential.The Person This role would suit an experienced person with experience within Heavy Industrial Engineering or a similar industry.
