Solar PV Technical Coordinator £38k-£45k Basic Salary (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Pension + Benefits Location - South Oxfordshire We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Solar PV Electrician / Technical Coordinator who wants to come away from the tools and move into an office based position.
Excellent opportunity to join a very reputable and well-established renewable energy business, and who specialise in a range of renewable technologies from Solar & Battery Storage through to Heat Pumps etc.
You'll need to live commutable to South Oxfordshire and to be considered.
The role is primarily office based, with potentially some visits to customer sites and to conduct surveys etc.
The Role
- As a Solar PV Technical Coordinator, you will provide technical guidance and support throughout the entire customer journey, from initial planning and system design through to commissioning and aftercare.
- Provide technical and electrical support to installation teams. Working closely with project managers, the sales teams etc.
- Procure equipment and materials for upcoming installations.
- Assist customers with technical queries relating to solar PV and battery storage systems.
- Deliver post-installation technical support and aftercare.
- Prepare and submit G98 and G99 grid connection applications.
- Ensure compliance with electrical regulations, MCS standards, and industry best practices.
- Conduct technical site surveys and assessments. Skills We Are Looking For
- Electrical qualifications (Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent).
- Previous experience hands on and ideally as an electrician, having previously installed Solar PV, Battery Storage or Renewable systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of solar PV and battery storage technologies.
- Good understanding of G98/G99 application requirements and processes.
