Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a company that offers a range of technical services to support construction and infrastructure projects. Their work involves site assessment, specialist operations, and ongoing monitoring. The main purpose of this job is to carry out preparation, repairs and scheduled maintenance of mechanical plant equipment.
Package:
- Mon - Fri 7:30 - 17:30
- £35,000 - £50,000 experience dependant
- 25 days holidays (excluding bank holidays) - increasing to 31 days
- Company van
- Sick pay
The role:
- You will need to hold a valid CSCS card or have the necessary qualifications and apprenticeship evidence to support a successful CSCS card application.
- Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Have a suitable toolbox, equipped with the tools required to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Be capable of servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of equipment including cable percussion and rotary drilling rigs, top hammers, grout mixing units, water and mud pumps, tanks, silos, and other related drilling and probing machinery.
- You will need to be trained and qualified in the following:
- Is trained and qualified in the use of abrasive wheels to enable the repair of equipment
- Is trained and qualified in the use of welding and burning equipment
- Is trained and qualified as a slinger signaller
- Is able to drive a counterbalance forklift
- To be familiar with hydraulic systems including the reading and interpretation of hydraulic diagrams
- To be familiar with electronic systems including the reading and interpretation of diagrams
- To be familiar with engines and fuel systems
- To be familiar with transmissions
You will be based from the workshop in Leeds but will be undertaking work nationwide and occasionally overseas.
