The Opportunity
I'm working with an established, LPCB accredited fire sprinkler specialist, a business that designs, installs, and project manages sprinkler systems throughout the UK. There is an immediate requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join their team to cover the north of the UK. This is a varied, autonomous role with a strong project portfolio spanning warehouses, data centres, office blocks, residential apartments, and educational buildings across the region. The working pattern is flexible with a blend of home working and site visits that shifts month to month depending on project demands. What the Role Involves
- Project managing fire sprinkler installations from contract award through to commissioning and handover across the North of England
- Overseeing installations across a range of project types that includes warehouses, data centres, offices, residential, and schools
- Managing project programmes, budgets, and financial reporting throughout delivery
- Coordinating clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep projects moving
- Ensuring all installations are delivered to LPCB standards and in full compliance with relevant British Standards
- Acting as the senior point of contact for clients across your project portfolio
What You Must Have
- Hands-on experience in fire sprinkler installation with a background on the tools or in a technical delivery role is essential
- Proven project management experience within the fire sprinkler industry
- Sound knowledge of traditional fire sprinkler systems
- Financial reporting and cost management experience
- Full UK driving licence
- FIRAS or LPCB accredited knowledge with relevant examinations - desirable but not essential
