What You'll Do:

  • Service, maintain & repair plant machinery (excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, compressors, tools)
  • Inspect machinery for defects
  • Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical & basic electrical faults
  • Repair, replace, reassemble & test components
  • Conduct pre-use and pre-delivery inspections
  • Use specialist workshop tools & lifting equipment (LOLER compliant)
  • Perform basic welding when required
  • Keep the workshop safe and clean

What You Need:

  • Experience as a plant mechanic/fitter (essential)
  • Hydraulic systems experience
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Confident with workshop equipment
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plant & Machinery or Land-Based Engineering (desirable)
  • FLT licence & full UK driving licence preferred
  • Reliable, motivated & safety-conscious
