- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of recycling, agricultural and plant machinery.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Undertake preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
- Maintain workshop standards and complete all relevant service documentation.
- Work on a wide variety of equipment including loading shovels, shredders, screeners, tractors and commercial vehicles.
- Experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician or similar engineering role.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Experience working on heavy plant, agricultural or recycling equipment.
- Knowledge of machinery such as JCB, John Deere, New Holland or similar manufacturers would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
