The Role
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of recycling, agricultural and plant machinery.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Undertake preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain workshop standards and complete all relevant service documentation.
  • Work on a wide variety of equipment including loading shovels, shredders, screeners, tractors and commercial vehicles.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, HGV Technician or similar engineering role.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Experience working on heavy plant, agricultural or recycling equipment.
  • Knowledge of machinery such as JCB, John Deere, New Holland or similar manufacturers would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a busy workshop team.
