Are you currently installing TV, satellite or broadband systems and looking for a route into the smart home and AV industry? This is a rare opportunity to join a growing residential technology business that is willing to invest in the right person. You'll build on your existing installation experience while receiving training and exposure to premium smart home, networking and home entertainment systems. Working alongside an experienced engineer, you'll gain hands-on experience with high-end residential projects and develop skills that can take your career far beyond traditional TV and satellite installation work. The Role
You will already have experience working in a field-based installation environment. This position builds on those skills while introducing you to smart home and residential AV technologies. Typical responsibilities include:
- Installation and servicing of TV and satellite systems
- Residential AV and home entertainment installations
- First and second fix cabling within high-end residential properties
- TV mounting, audio setup and cable management
- Router setup, WiFi configuration and basic networking support
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on site
- Assisting with smart home installations including Control4 and Lutron systems
- Using laptops for testing, updates and basic system configuration
You will not be expected to programme smart home systems from day one. Full support and training will be provided as your knowledge develops.

- Experience within TV, satellite, broadband, telecoms or field service engineering
- Comfortable working within customer-facing residential environments
- Understanding of cabling, signal distribution or basic networking
- Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
