Senior Fire & Security Engineer

Salary: £45,000 Basic (Increase Following Successful Probation) + Overtime + Company Vehicle + Benefits

The Company

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Senior Fire & Security Engineer to join their established engineering team.

The Role

As a Senior Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs, and small works across a range of commercial sites throughout London and the surrounding areas.

You will be working on a variety of Fire & Security systems while delivering a high standard of customer service and technical support.

Duties Include

  • Service, maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on Fire & Security systems.
  • Carrying out small works and system upgrades.
  • Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.
  • Testing and commissioning systems where required.
  • Completing all relevant paperwork electronically.
  • Providing technical support and advice to customers.
  • Maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Ensuring all work complies with current industry standards and company procedures.
  • Systems Experience
  • Experience working on a mixture of the following would be advantageous:
  • Fire Alarm Systems
  • CCTV
  • Access Control
  • Intruder Alarms Manufacturer experience such as Gent, Advanced, Kentec, Notifier, C-Tec, Texecom, Galaxy, Paxton, Hikvision, Hanwha, Avigilon, Gallagher or similar would be beneficial.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Fire & Security Engineer.
  • Strong service and fault finding experience.
  • Experience carrying out small works.
  • Good knowledge of Fire Alarm and Security systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
