Lead Audio Visual Technician
Location: Swindon-based with national travel.
Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 + Company Benefits.

As Lead AV Technician, you\’ll take charge of installations nationwide – from cutting-edge LED walls and digital signage to video conferencing systems and immersive audio setups. You\’ll oversee installation teams, ensure smooth project delivery, and get hands‑on with technology that’s transforming how people interact with digital environments.

What You\’ll Do
- Lead and carry out on‑site installations of complete AV systems.
- Conduct site surveys and advise on hardware, cabling, and setup requirements.
- Oversee and support subcontractors and installation partners.
- Deliver system commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Provide basic programming and configuration support (audio, video, lighting).
- Support occasional service visits and upgrades for key clients.
- Help source and onboard trusted engineers in new regions.
What You\’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience installing professional AV systems.
- Strong knowledge of displays, LED walls, video distribution, and control systems.
- Confident working on‑site in customer‑facing roles.
- Understanding of IT networks and AV/IP integration.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
Desirable Extras: CSCS/ECS card | IPAF or PASMA | Experience with Crestron, Q‑SYS, or Biamp | First Aid trained.
