This is an opportunity to support one of the UK's most established Audio Visual technology specialists on a busy programme of retail and automotive installations. The business has operated for over 30 years and delivers AV and Digital signage solutions across the UK, with a strong focus on quality installation and long term client relationships. They are now looking for 2 experienced install engineers. This can be an established team of 2 or 2 individual engineers who are comfortable working together or separately on site.
The Role
You will be responsible for the on site installation of Digital signage systems, large format screens, and video walls across retail and automotive environments. This is a hands-on installation role with consistent site based work, primarily across the Midlands and North of England.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of Digital signage displays, commercial screens, and video walls
- Mounting, alignment, and physical installation of screens and associated hardware
- Assisting with basic configuration, testing, and commissioning of installed systems
- Working from drawings and installation briefs provided by the project team
- Maintaining high installation standards in live retail and automotive environments
- Adhering to health and safety requirements at all times
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience installing Digital signage, commercial screens, and video walls
- Proven experience working within retail and automotive environments
- Strong practical installation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a 2-person installation team
- Comfortable with regional travel across the Midlands and North of the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
Contract Details
- 6 month contract
- Start date: Late January / Early February
- Consistent project based work
- UK based candidates only
- Must have own vehicle and tools
