Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Fire & Security Engineers based in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas who are looking for a local position with a well-established NSI Gold accredited, family-run business. You'll be working across West Yorkshire, keeping travel local and enjoying a genuine work-life balance. What You'll Be Doing

  • Installing, servicing and maintaining Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Commissioning and fault finding across Fire & Security systems
  • Installing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control and Security Lighting (training provided where required)
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
  • Providing excellent customer service across commercial and residential sites
  • Participating in a shared on-call rota with very low call-out volumes
  • Working safely and maintaining company tools and vehicles to a high standard

What We're Looking For

  • Experience installing and servicing Fire Alarm and Intruder Alarm systems
  • CCTV and Access Control experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • A professional, customer-focused approach with pride in delivering quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • FIA, City & Guilds, ECS/CSCS or IPAF qualifications are beneficial but not essential
  • Full UK Driving Licence
