Position Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter to join a busy and well-supported operation covering the Kent area. This role is ideal for a competent engineer looking for strong earnings, structured working hours, and long-term stability.
Main Duties
- Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy plant machinery
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Attend site breakdowns and carry out effective repairs
- Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety requirements
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working on heavy plant or construction equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working independently in a mobile role
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant qualifications or solid hands-on experience
Working Hours & Rota
- Monday to Friday as standard
- Saturday rota (paid accordingly / agreed rotation)
- No excessive call-outs or unrealistic workloads
