Location: East Sussex
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Manager to join one of our clients based in the South East and who are a forward-thinking specialist within the Renewable Energy industry.
As the Electrical Installation Manager, you'll oversee Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charger installations, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Playing a key role in planning, preparing and managing installations.
You'll need to be based in the East Sussex region, ideally living local to areas such as Lewes, Uckfield, Crowborough, Heathfield, Hailsham, Bexhill, Eastbourne and so on.
Responsibilities- Carry out detailed technical site surveys and support accurate job costing
- Lead and support installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring excellent workmanship - mainly residential projects and with some commercial.
- Coordinate with clients, scaffolders, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth setup
- Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Complete RAMS, documentation and commissioning records accurately within the CRM
- Manage labour, materials and resources to achieve targets without compromising quality
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification
- C&G 2391 / 2394 / 2395 Inspection & Testing certification
- Previous experience with Renewable Energy electrical installations - Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Chargers
- Experience supervising, leading installation teams and with project management
- Desired - SMSTS Site Management Safety Training Scheme
- Desired - ECS Gold Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Competitive Salary - £40k-£50k Basic Salary (depending on experience)
