The role
As a Fire and Security Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for fire, security, and life-safety projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure all technical and commercial aspects of a project are accounted for. Your estimates will directly support business growth and successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate pricing
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and pricing information
- Work with project teams to ensure estimates align with budgets, timelines, and client requirements
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, tenders, and revisions
