Location: Gravesend / Dartford / SE London

Alecto Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking a Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer with plumbing experience to join a leading and award-winning client of ours within the Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing and Heating sector. Ideally you will live local to either Gravesend, Dartford or South East London areas and with the role being a mobile engineer position.

Job Role: Working primarily as a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for a mixture of servicing, repair and breakdown work, along with some minor installation work. Ideally we are also looking for someone comfortable with relevant plumbing work, maintenance on relevant heating systems, plumbing systems, pipework, valves, hot water systems etc. Customers include private domestic and residential. Our client also works across commercial sectors, offices, educational, commercial plant rooms etc. therefore commercial experience would also be a bonus, however isn’t essential. Further training into commercial plumbing or gas can be provided for the right person.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Qualified Gas Engineer, holding Domestic ACS gas tickets such as; CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 etc.
  • Strong installation, service and repair experience and working on a range of domestic gas, boiler and heating systems
  • Domestic or Commercial plumbing experience is also desired
  • Commercial plant room experience desired
  • NVQ 2/3 Qualified Plumber or equivalent desired but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence

Salary & Package on offer:

  • Up to £44k Basic Salary
  • Company Van/Fuel Tools, Pension etc.
  • 20 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Call out rota of 1 in 6 plus overtime available
