An established HVAC company is recruiting an experienced HVAC Service Engineer to cover Glasgow and the wider Central Scotland area. This is a service and maintenance–focused role working across commercial and light industrial environments.
The Role
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Fault diagnosis across electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
- Service and maintenance of:
- Split & multi–split air conditioning systems
- VRV / VRF systems
- AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems
- Heat pumps and chillers (experience dependent)
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as an HVAC or AC Service Engineer
- F–Gas Category 1
- Strong fault–finding and diagnostic skills
- Good electrical and mechanical knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently in a mobile role
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Experience with chillers, heat pumps, or BMS–controlled systems
- 18th Edition (BS7671)
- IPAF / PASMA
- Commercial service and maintenance background
Working Environment
- Commercial and light industrial sites including offices, retail, healthcare, education, and distribution
- Service–led role (no installation bias)
- Strong technical and administrative support
- Realistic workloads and organised call–out structure
