We are working with a respected and established company within the fire and security sector, who are now seeking an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join their team covering Birmingham and surrounding areas. The Role:
- As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you will carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding across a range of systems including fire alarms, CCTV, intruder alarms, and access control.
- Working on both commercial and residential sites, you will ensure systems remain compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest standards.
- You will represent the business on-site, providing excellent customer service, completing detailed reports, and working independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems.
- Diagnosing and resolving system faults efficiently.
- Completing accurate service reports and documentation.
- Providing excellent customer service and building rapport with clients.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and industry regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a fire and security service role.
- Knowledge of systems such as Hikvision, Texecom, Paxton, Honeywell, etc.
- Familiarity with British Standards (BS5839 desirable).
- Full UK driving license (essential).
- ECS/CSCS card (preferred but not essential).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a self-motivated attitude.
