We are working with a highly respected and fast growing fire and security specialist that delivers complex, high quality life safety solutions across London and the South East. Due to continued project wins, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Fire and Security Designer to strengthen their design function.
This is a key role within the business where you will take ownership of system design from concept through to final issue, working closely with project managers, estimators and clients to ensure fully compliant and efficient solutions.
The role will involve:
- Designing fire alarm and security systems in line with current British Standards and client specifications
- Producing detailed drawings, layouts and documentation using CAD software
- Supporting project delivery teams with technical input and design clarifications
- Attending design meetings and liaising with consultants and end users
- Ensuring all designs are practical, compliant and commercially viable
