The Company
Alecto Recruitment are representing a well established and growing Fire & Security company who are looking to recruit an experienced Security Engineer to join their team covering Essex and the surrounding areas. The Role
As a Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and small installation works on a range of electronic security systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will work independently, managing your own diary while delivering a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Duties Include
- Service, maintenance, and fault finding on CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Carrying out small installation works and system upgrades.
- Diagnosing faults and providing effective solutions.
- Performing planned preventative maintenance visits.
- Completing service reports and required documentation.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers.
- Maintaining excellent customer relationships.
- Ensuring all work complies with company procedures and industry standards.
Systems Experience
Experience working with a variety of manufacturers is desirable, including:
- Hikvision
- Hanwha
- Avigilon
- Paxton
- Gallagher
- Texecom
- Honeywell
- Galaxy
- Pyronix
- Orisec
- CSL DualCom
Experience with similar systems will also be considered.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Security Engineer.
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
