We\'re hiring for a key role at a leading Energy-from-Waste (EfW) facility in North Yorkshire - playing a vital part in generating power from waste while reducing landfill and supporting a greener future. The Role We are looking for experienced Electrical Technician or Electrical Maintenance Engineers who would be interested in working as an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician (full training provided). In this role you\'ll support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of our client\'s EfW plant. Responsibilities: Calibration of instrumentation (Level, Temperature, Pressure, Flow etc.) Fault finding and rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA and PLC\'s. Control panels and wiring standards. Motors / Switchgear cubicles. Variable speed drives (VSD\'s). Circuit breakers / Electrical transformers. Awareness of High Voltage equipment Ability to read and work from EC&I drawings / documents. Experience / knowledge of safe systems of work including permit to work, method statements and risk assessments. Experience working in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure and working to tight timescales.What We\'re Looking For: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline. 17th/18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. Experience working in power generation, heavy industry, or energy-from-waste environments. Knowledge of HV/LV systems, safety protocols, and permit-to-work systems. A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a team-focused mindset.Desirable: Experience in Electrical Controls & Instrumentation.What\'s In It for You?
