Domestic Plumber / Small Works Engineer

£35k-£40k (depending on experience) + Company Van/Fuel + Pension + Overtime Available + Career Progression

Location: South East London – Lewisham – Catford

Job Summary

We have a superb opportunity for an experienced and qualified Domestic Plumber to join a leading contractor and provider of heating, plumbing, gas and electrical works throughout the South East and who have over 25-30 years\' industry experience.

Responsible for covering the South East London area; ideally you will live local to one of the following areas: New Cross, Deptford, Catford, Lewisham etc.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair and maintain all plumbing and heating systems, pumps, zone valves, radiators, power flushing etc.
  • Repair, fix leaks and maintain/install works across basins, tanks and hot water cylinders and taps.
  • Carry out reactive and planned jobs and attend emergency jobs.
  • Work in a range of domestic and residential properties – private and social housing.

Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified and experienced plumber.
  • Level 2 / 3 NVQ Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
  • Ideally unvented hot water systems G3 UDHW, however not essential.
  • Must have experience working in domestic / residential homes.
  • Good plumbing and small works experience.
  • Ideally social housing experience.

Salary and Package

  • £35k-£40k Base Salary (subject to experience) – based on Mon‑Fri
  • Company Van / Fuel provided
  • Overtime and call out available for additional earnings
  • 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays
  • Pension
  • Tools etc.
