Alecto Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a market-leading forklift maintenance and hire company for an experienced Mobile Forktruck Engineer to cover the Yorkshire and Humber region.
What's in it for you?
- £16.50 per hour, rising to £17.50 per hour after your 6-month probation
- Overtime available - dependent on experience

What you'll be doing
- Servicing and repairing forklifts on customer sites as directed by your Service Manager
- Diagnosing faults quickly and accurately, with a friendly, can-do attitude
- Completing service reports on a PDA system after every job
- Working independently across a loyal, established customer base
Is this you?
- Solid hands-on experience with forklifts
- Confident electrical knowledge - this customer base has a lot of electrical equipment, so you'll need to prove it
- City & Guilds in mechanics, or an equivalent qualification
- Well-organised, methodical and process-driven
- A problem-solver who can think outside the box
- Comfortable managing your own workload under pressure
- Professional, trustworthy, punctual and polite
- A genuine team player
