Commercial Gas Engineer — £48k Basic Salary (subject to experience) + Door to Door + NO CALL OUT ROTA + Company Van + Pension + Benefits. Location – Cardiff – South Wales.
Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours and who specialise extensively within the FM, Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services sector. Working as a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer, your role will mainly cover the South Wales region, ideally you\’ll live commutable to Cardiff or Newport.
Responsibilities
- You\’ll be responsible for mainly service, repair and maintenance work on a range of commercial heating and boiler systems, commercial gas boilers etc.
- Responsible for PPM tasks, fault-finding, reactive maintenance.
- Ideally you\’ll be open to some other mechanical tasks, such as installing, servicing and maintenance work of HIU\’s (Heat Interface Units) and within communal plant rooms. (training can be provided).
Qualifications
- You\’ll need to have previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Hold current commercial gas certificates such as; COCN1 Or CODNCO1 Changeover, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a etc.
- HIU experience preferred, however isn\’t essential.
- Hold UK driving licence.

- £48k Base Salary (depending on experience) + Additional Overtime Rates
