The Role
- Service, maintain and repair a fleet of heavy plant and construction equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and routine servicing.
- Attend breakdowns at sites across London and Essex.
- Complete workshop-based repairs, inspections and component replacements.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Engineer or similar.
- Strong hydraulic, mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
- Experience working on construction, demolition or heavy plant machinery.
- Welding and fabrication experience would be advantageous.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent) are desirable.
