We're looking for an experienced Security Systems Maintenance Engineer to join a trusted, London-based integrator. This is mostly service and maintenance, with occasional small works and upgrades, across CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, fire alarms, intercoms, and related systems.

You'll be responsible for ensuring all systems operate reliably, meet compliance standards, and provide effective security for clients. This is a hands-on, practical role where problem-solving and attention to detail are key.

What you'll be doing

  • Planned preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on Electronic Security Systems
  • Responding to reactive maintenance calls and breakdowns
  • Carrying out small upgrades and minor installation work when required
  • Maintaining accurate service records, reports, and equipment documentation
  • Providing technical support and training to end-users
  • Participating in an on-call rota as needed

  • Proven experience in maintaining security systems, including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and some fire alarms
  • Knowledge of major system brands such as Pyronix, Honeywell, Scantronic, Menvier, Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, C-Tec, Advanced, Kentec
  • Understanding of networking principles (IP addressing, PoE, switches, diagnostics)
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reliable, organised, and able to work independently

  • Relevant technical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC)
  • Manufacturer training certificates
  • ECS or CSCS card
