The Role
As a Service & Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding on automated gates, barriers, and access control systems across the South East and South London. You will work independently and as part of a team, ensuring all systems are safe, compliant, and performing at their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair automated gates, barriers, and access control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults quickly and efficiently.
- Work on swing gates, sliding gates, rising arm barriers, motors, control panels, and safety devices.
- Carry out routine maintenance and respond to reactive call-outs.
- Deliver excellent customer service and clear technical communication at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-3+ years’ experience working with automated gates and barriers.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
- Confident working on swing/sliding gates, barriers, and associated controls.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- DHF, Gate Safe, or CSCS certifications (desirable, not essential).
- A proactive attitude, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
