A leading building services and facilities management contractor is seeking an experienced Chiller Service Engineer to support a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients across London and the surrounding areas.
This is a long-term, stable opportunity offering manufacturer-backed training, exposure to large commercial plant, and clear progression for engineers specialising in chillers and cooling systems.
Role Responsibilities
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair works on chiller systems
- Fault diagnosis on electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
- Servicing, maintenance, and repair of:
- Air-cooled and water-cooled chillers
- Scroll, screw, and centrifugal compressors
- Process cooling systems
- Close control / precision cooling equipment
- Associated pumps, valves, and controls
- F-Gas regulations
- Health & Safety legislation
- Company and site procedures
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Minimum 3+ years' experience as a Chiller Engineer or HVAC Engineer with strong chiller exposure
- F-Gas Category 1
- Proven fault-finding capability on commercial chiller systems
- Good working knowledge of electrical and mechanical components
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Manufacturer training (e.g. Carrier, Trane, Daikin, York, Mitsubishi)
