Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading figure in the Anaerobic Digestion sector who is looking for an LV Electrician to cover their Anaerobic Digestion assets across the Midlands and Oxfordshire area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company standards.
- Optimize, maintain, and repair critical process control instrumentation.
- Perform maintenance on electric motor drive systems and related control systems, including basic motor starters and inverters.
- Diagnose, repair, and modify electrical systems.
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate instrumentation such as pressure and level transducers, temperature probes, and flow meters.
- Collaborate with a team of electricians to develop and enhance ongoing electrical maintenance schedules.
- Execute both planned and unplanned maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Conduct repairs and inspections on ATEX-rated equipment in accordance with COMPEX standards.
- Maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant and equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Completed electrical apprenticeship with an NVQ3 or equivalent.
- Current BS7671 (18th edition wiring regs).
- COMPEX 1-4.
- C&G Confined Space Level 2 or above.
- Experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience with fault diagnosis and repair.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements for engaging contractors.
- Ability to utilise standard company computer packages.
- Experience of working on anaerobic digestion or wastewater treatment plants.
- Trained LV SAP (Senior Authorised Person).
- C&G Periodic Inspection and Test (2392) or equivalent.
