Alecto Recruitment Ltd currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Gas / Heating Engineer to join a leading and well-established client of ours who specialise within the Mechanical, Electrical and Building Services sector.

Ideally we are seeking someone who lives local to areas such as Essex, Brentwood, Billericay and close to the M25.

Job Role

Working as a mobile commercial gas engineer and responsible for carrying out PPM (planned preventative maintenance), servicing, repairs and fault-finding on commercial gas boilers and heating systems. Diagnose and rectify faults on boilers, burners, HVAC plant, heating controls, pumps, pipework, and related mechanical equipment. Typical clients and contracts include Schools, Colleges, Healthcare, Offices, Industrial Units etc.

What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer
  • Hold current commercial gas certificates such as; COCN1 Or CODNCO1 Changeover, ICPN1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, TPCP1a etc.
  • Good knowledge of commercial heating systems, boilers, plant rooms, ventilation, and mechanical systems
  • Hold UK driving licence
  • Commutable to Essex and Brentwood areas
