I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing company for a Junior Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who's looking to develop their skills, gain hands-on experience, and progress into a fully-fledged Service Engineer role.
The Role
- You'll be working alongside experienced engineers, supporting service, maintenance, and installation work across commercial refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
- Assist with servicing, maintenance & fault finding
- Support experienced engineers on-site
- Learn how to diagnose faults and complete repairs
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks independently as you progress
- Use Simpro system for job updates and reporting
What They're Looking For
- F-Gas Category 1 (or working towards it)
- Some experience or a qualification in refrigeration / air conditioning
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and keen to build a long-term career
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Experience in commercial refrigeration or AC
- CSCS / CITB card
- Basic electrical knowledge
