Salary & Benefits

  • £36,000 - £39,000 Basic Salary
  • Annual Pay Increase
  • Performance Bonus: 3% Bonus Paid Annually in April
  • £500 Bonus Paid in December
  • Monday to Friday Working Hours 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • 21 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
  • Christmas Shutdown Period (approximately 10 days including weekends)
  • Company Vehicle Available for Engineers Undertaking Call-Outs

The Role

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
  • Undertake fault finding across diesel, LPG and electric-powered equipment.
  • Use advanced diagnostic systems and manufacturer software to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work primarily within a fully equipped workshop environment, with optional onsite repair work available.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience within forklift, materials handling, plant or related industries.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working across multiple equipment brands and fuel types.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic software and electronic fault diagnosis.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Formal qualifications are not essential; practical experience is highly valued.
