Are you an experienced Security Systems Engineer with strong intruder alarm knowledge and an interest in smart home security? We are working with a well-established home technology integrator delivering high quality residential and commercial projects across the Midlands. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on delivering clean, professional installations to a very high standard. This role will suit someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys autonomy, and wants to work on premium projects rather than volume jobs.
The role
- You will take full ownership of security installations from start to finish.
- The focus is on intruder alarm systems and integrated smart home security, primarily within high end residential properties, with some commercial work as well.
- You will be trusted to manage your own workload, represent the business professionally on site, and deliver systems that work exactly as they should.
What you will be doing
- Installing and configuring intruder alarm systems and smart home security solutions.
- Commissioning systems to meet client requirements and industry standards.
- Testing, fault finding, and ensuring long term system reliability.
- Managing projects independently including time planning and materials.
- Communicating clearly and professionally with clients on site.
- Completing accurate job and commissioning documentation.
