Salary: Competitive + benefits
About the role
We're looking for a highly skilled AV Technical Manager to act as the link between sales, design, and delivery. This is a key role where you'll take ownership of technical solution design from early client engagement through to project delivery support.
You'll work closely with sales teams to understand client requirements, design tailored AV solutions, and ensure proposals are technically robust, commercially viable, and deliverable.
What you'll be doing
You'll lead on technical pre sales activity, including client meetings, site surveys, and solution scoping. You'll design integrated AV systems, produce detailed documentation such as schematics and bills of materials, and contribute to tenders and proposals.
You'll also deliver technical presentations, support bid responses, and act as the technical authority on complex projects. Alongside this, you'll work with engineering and delivery teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and aligned with project requirements.
A big part of the role is staying close to new AV technologies, advising on product selection, and working with manufacturers to shape solutions that meet client needs.
What we're looking for
Strong background in AV integration with experience in pre sales or solutions design. You'll need solid technical knowledge across AV systems, video conferencing, and control platforms, along with confidence in client facing discussions.
Certifications such as CTS or experience with Crestron, Extron, or Q-SYS would be a strong advantage, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
