The Role:
- Set, operate, and (where possible) programme CNC lathes using FANUC controls
- Load raw materials and components onto machines
- Interpret technical drawings to manufacture parts to specification
- Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required
- Carry out routine machine checks and ensure optimal performance
Requirements:
- Experience setting and operating CNC machines (lathes preferred)
- Working knowledge of FANUC controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident using precision measuring equipment
- Knowledge of tolerances, geometry, and surface finishes
- CNC Sliding Head machine experience is an advantage
