The Role:

  • Set, operate, and (where possible) programme CNC lathes using FANUC controls
  • Load raw materials and components onto machines
  • Interpret technical drawings to manufacture parts to specification
  • Monitor machining processes and make adjustments where required
  • Carry out routine machine checks and ensure optimal performance

Requirements:

  • Experience setting and operating CNC machines (lathes preferred)
  • Working knowledge of FANUC controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confident using precision measuring equipment
  • Knowledge of tolerances, geometry, and surface finishes
  • CNC Sliding Head machine experience is an advantage
