Overview
We are representing our client, a well‑established and respected building services provider, who is looking to appoint an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to support their growing operations across London. This is a long‑term role offering stability, consistent workload, and excellent earning potential for a skilled engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‑finding, and minor installation works on a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on air conditioning systems
- Attending reactive breakdowns and carrying out effective fault diagnosis and repair
- Working on systems including:
- Split systems
- Multi‑split systems
- VRV / VRF systems
- F‑Gas regulations
- Company procedures
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer
- F‑Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory)
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding capability
- Experience working in commercial environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
