Heavy Plant Workshop Engineer – Vacuum Excavation Equipment
Location: Merseyside, England
Salary: GBP 38,000 – 45,000 per annum + Training and Development. Competitive salary available for the right candidate.
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Plant Workshop Engineer to join a busy workshop team working on vacuum excavation equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Workshop-based maintenance and repair of vacuum excavation machinery.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently.
- Routine servicing and inspections.
- Ensuring equipment is maintained to high safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working on heavy plant machinery.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills.
- Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to carry out servicing, maintenance, and fault finding independently.
- NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification advantageous.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
