The Role

As an AV Installation Engineer, you’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and commissioning high‑quality AV systems at client sites. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects to a high standard, ensuring every installation looks sharp, performs flawlessly, and leaves the client impressed.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Installing a wide range of AV solutions including projectors, LED & LCD displays, screens, speakers, microphones, VC systems, control systems, and digital signage
  • Reading and working from technical drawings, schematics, and system designs
  • Ensuring all installations meet industry standards, health & safety, and best‑practice guidelines
  • Working collaboratively with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time
  • Maintaining company tools, PPE, and vehicles to a professional standard
  • Representing the business professionally on client sites
  • Taking part in ongoing training and development to stay ahead of the curve

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in AV installation (commercial environments preferred)
  • Strong understanding of AV signal flow and installation best practices
  • Ability to confidently interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
