Job Summary
- Site based in Woking
- Your main responsibility will be to operate and maintain mechanical plant and associated equipment within CHP energy centres and district energy networks
- Service, diagnose faults and repair a wide range of mechanical plant with particular emphasis on internal combustion engines, diesel generators, and CHP units
- Fully Employed - Monday to Friday - 40hrs - 7:30am-4pm standard
What We Are Looking For
- Qualified and experienced mechanical maintenance engineer, holding relevant mechanical qualifications to City & Guilds or NVQ standard, relevant apprenticeship / qualification in mechanical engineering
- Desirable but not essential - CHP (combined heat & power) or generator experience
- Ideally experience in maintenance & repair of things like commercial pumps, pipework, motors, valves, belts, conveyors etc
- Ex Royal Navy / Marine Engineering type backgrounds also considered
