We're looking for a Senior AV Engineer who takes pride in delivering exceptional work and wants to be involved in some of the most impressive residential smart home projects in the UK. This Isn't Just Another AV Installation Role
You'll be trusted to lead the technical delivery of high-end residential projects from rack build through to final handover. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions on site, work with leading technologies, and play a key role in ensuring installations are completed to the highest possible standard. No micromanagement. No cutting corners. No rushed installations that leave you firefighting months later. Just quality projects, quality equipment, and a team that genuinely values good engineering.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the installation and commissioning of luxury residential AV and smart home systems
- Building and wiring professional-grade racks to a premium standard
- Installing and commissioning:
- Home Cinema Systems
- Multi-Room Audio
- Video Distribution
- Automated Shading
- Integrated Smart Home Platforms
- Configuring systems including: Control4, Crestron
- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues during installation and commissioning
- Working closely with project managers, designers, clients, and contractors
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers when required
- Taking ownership of project quality from start to finish
Who We're Looking For:
You'll probably be frustrated in your current role if:
- You're capable of more responsibility but aren't being trusted with it
- You're constantly fixing poor-quality installs
- You're working with outdated technology
- You're looking for more complex and rewarding projects
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience within high-end residential AV
- Proven installation and commissioning experience
- Excellent rack-building and structured cabling skills
- Experience with Control4 and/or Lutron
- Exposure to Crestron or Savant would be a strong advantage
- The confidence to lead on-site technical delivery
- A professional approach when working in luxury residential environments
- A full UK driving licence
